We can offer guidance to members and although we are not lawyers, we can help you navigate legal issues, such as eviction proceedings or disputes with tenants, by educating you on your rights as a property owner.

We have a dedicated support team working hard to ensure your needs are met while advocating on behalf of landlord rights and fair legislation at all levels of government. This includes lobbying for landlord-friendly laws and regulations or working with lawmakers to address issues that affect rental housing providers. An additional perk of becoming a member of the Association is that The Residential Tenancies Act stipulates that rental housing providers who are active members of the Association are able to increase rent with 6 months’ notice on a month-to-month tenancy agreement instead of the usual, 1 year.
